Becoming a Distributor
Matta Ltd is seeking distributors in two key areas. These distributors will be either territory distributors having a defined geographical area or industrial sector distributors specializing in a particular industry sector.
Territory Distributors
- Territory distributors will have exclusive marketing rights to a defined geographical area.
- Matta Products will work closely with all its territory distributors to provide full support and assistance.
- Matta Products will provide a distributor contract that will give the territory distributors security, confidence and assistance with the resources to develop their territory.
It is envisaged that the servicing of their territory will make up a significant part of the territory distributors business. Matta seeks to work closely with all its territory distributors. It is possible that newly appointed territory distributors will be people seeking to establish a new business venture for themselves.
Territory Distributors will be expected to fit the following description
- The Matta product must make up a significant portion of their business (this portion will vary depending on the distributor and the territory being targeted).
- They must be technically competent, fully understanding the Matta product range.
- They must demonstrate that they personally have the financial resources and technical knowledge to lay the product in playgrounds, swimming pools, grass retention areas and certain industrial complexes. Only subcontractors approved by Matta Marketing will be allowed.
- They will purchase products direct from the marketing company, and will not be allowed to on-sell to further sub-agents, without first having Matta Marketing's approval.
- The agreement will be for specific products, to be marketed into a specific geographical area.
- The distributor contract will require assurances of financial viability, realistic sales targets and ongoing reports on sales and marketing activity.
- They must attend training programs.
Industrial Sector Distributors.
It is expected that industrial sector distributors will:
- Have existing marketing and distribution networks within a defined industrial sector that they are able to use.
- Have a proven history of success in the penetration of their chosen industrial sector market.
- Be interested in researching, defining and developing further sectors.
Matta seeks distributor enquiries from organizations that can demonstrate the above abilities. Matta will provide the security and incentive necessary to make the development of the Matta agency worthwhile. All arrangements will be subject to a clearly defined contract.
