Matta Products Ltd is becoming a globally recognized name in the field of anti-fatigue and safety surfacing systems. A range of products has been designed and manufactured using predominately recycled plastics and rubber for use in playground, sport and recreation and industrial environs.

Matta Products Ltd was formed in 1992 and by its use of recycled & virgin material, immediately identified with a market looking for environmentally friendly products.

The first mat produced was awarded the Premier Award by the New Zealand Plastics Institute and since that time a range of safety surfacing has evolved which meet a wide spectrum of requirements. The company has ISO 9001 accreditation and is a member of many recognized associations.

Commencing from a background founded in recycling, the company quickly expanded from its manufacturing base in New Zealand to marketing the mats around the world. Matta Products LLC is an established Company in California and other distributors are located in Canada, U.K., Mexico, Australia, South America, Taiwan, Japan and South East Asia, with more to follow.

Health and Safety regulations and awareness have forced Local Governments and Councils world wide to upgrade playgrounds, sport and leisure facilities. To meet these demands Matta Products Ltd have coordinated entrepreneurial, design and engineering skills and now present their answer to this challenge - Play Mattas, Safety Mattas, Rebound Mattas and Kidz Mattas. To do this, the latest technology in ergonomic design was applied and scientific testing of all products to high world standards achieved.
